As the reigning NBA champions, the San Antonio Spurs have been putting up quite the fight in recent league play. While some teams like The Raptors, Bulls & the Clippers have been struggling post-All-Star break, the Spurs have managed to turn things around. They are currently on a 5-game winning streak and it even seems like the old Tony Parker is back! Could it be??

Despite their positive up-swing, one mysterious thing occurred in their 116-105 victory over the Bulls yesterday night in Texas. The man who along with Coach Popovich has a Championship ring for each finger (5), did not make 1 shot. Yes you read that right, no you are not seeing things. In his 17-year career, Dunc has been an NBA all-star 15 times and failed to hit any field goals on Sunday. He was 0-8 from the field with a big fat goose-egg for his field goal percentage. As a seasoned veteran who has played in over 1500 games in his career, Duncan has never not made a shot. Thankfully he did not end up scoreless. In just under 28 minutes of play, he had 3 points, all of which were scored from the free-throw line. Despite his lack of field goals, he did have quite the presence on the floor. Tim lead his team in rebounds (8) and assists (3) to help The Spurs come away with the dub.

The Spurs take on the 38-25 Raptors tomorrow night in San Antonio. Don’t worry Dunc, your team and fans still love ya.
