Andrew Wiggins has raised the bar. On Saturday evening the Vaughan, ON native registered 29 points versus the Sacramento Kings.

Minnesota lost this game. Still, it was great to see Andrew Wiggins have arguably his best game as a pro Sunday night.

Wiggins had 29 points on 22 shots. He did most of his damage using his athleticism to the rim (5-of-5) and he knocked down a couple of threes, however he struggled from the midrange (2-of-13 from beyond three feet out to the arc). There’s work that needs to be done on his shot.

But you can see the potential.

One night earlier teammate and fellow Canadian Brampton, ON’s Anthony Bennett did the same registering 20 points en route to his personal career best.

The Wolves sit at 3-9 entering the final week of November but are now receiving encouraging contributions from two key young players – Wiggins and Bennett!

Bennett shot 9-14 from the field, including two from the charity stripe. He also had three rebounds and three steals during the contest.
