Thompson Taking Talents To ECF, Compared To Rodman

For the second straight season Thompson will play for Eastern Conference title.

He might be in the South, but Tristan Thompson is representing the north. For the second straight season the Brampton, Ontario native will take his talents to the Eastern Conference finals.

Last summer after a lengthy contract hold out Thompson was paid $80 million dollars.  of the rebounding and defensive big men in the association his agent rested his laurels on.

Thompson’s biggest boosters on the Cleveland sports scene is Indians manager Terry Francona.

Speaking to the News Herald, Franco compared Thompson to Dennis Rodman,

“Tristan Thompson just does whatever he wants. Tristan Thompson is the perfect guy to have on a team because he doesn’t need plays for him. He gets all those rebounds. He gets garbage points but he doesn’t need plays run for him.”

“He’s like (Dennis Rodman). M.J. (Michael Jordan) used to tell me all the time, “I loved Rodman. He’d go up and get the ball and give it to me.”
