Under the radar a trend in international basketball is brewing —Canada’s emergence in the Americas. For three straight FIBA America tournaments, Canada has produced a silver medal. Handling the strong South American nations with ease is the new normal now. Important signs of strides at the youth level on a formidable international scene. Signs of passion from our prospects and hopefully signs of more to come.
Looking at adding to our recent Silver spree in the Americas, Basketball Canada has reportedly finalized their fourteen man plan enroute to the U18 FIBA Americas. Our Junior Mens team will be led by head coach Roy Rana.
