Orangeville Prep Taking Talents To California
Orangeville Prep will take their talents to California this weekend.
Participating in the second annual Take Flight Challenge, presented by Redondo Union High and hosted by The Jordan Hangar in Los Angeles, our Canadian power from Orangeville faces L.A. Future Prep at 11:30pm EST Friday night and San Diego’s Balboa Prep Saturday night at 12:00am midnight EST.
The second of those games is expected create quite a buzz for an individual matchup featuring 7-foot 2016 Thon Maker (Orangeville Prep) and 6-11 2017 DeAndre Ayton (Balboa Prep). Ayton is currently ranked #1-overall in his class by ESPN. Some have also suggested DeAndre Ayton is one of the best bigs in the country not just in his class.
I continue to be impressed by DeAndre Ayton. You don't find guys his size, mobility, length, athleticism & feel very often. Special talent.
