NBA 2014-2015 Schedule
We are just over two months away from the official start of the 2014-2015 NBA season. The league plans to announce its schedule for the upcoming season tonight at 6pm. However, some games have already begun to be leaked.
On October 30th LeBron James will put a Cleveland home jersey on for the first time since his departure as the Cavaliers will host Carmelo Anthony and the New York Knicks. James and his teammates will then travel to Chicago on the 31st to face a hopeful healthy Derrick Rose and the Chicago Bulls.
James new teammate Kevin Love will make his return to Minnesota on January 31st.
The official start date of the season is October 28th, where the San Antonio Spurs will raise their Championship banner at home versus the Dallas Mavericks. That game will be followed by the Houston Rockets versus the Los Angeles Lakers at Staples Center.
The most anticipated day of the NBA season, Christmas Day will feature five headlining games: Cavaliers vs Miami Heat, Washington Wizards vs Knicks, Oklahoma City Thunder vs Spurs, Lakers vs Bulls and Golden State Warriors vs. Los Angeles Clippers.
The post-Sterling era for the Clippers begins October 30th vs Thunder followed by the Lakers on the 31st.
