After a strong start to his career in Europe with Greek power AEK, Carl English took to his twitter account and squashed online speculation of him pondering a switch to some more renowned Euro League clubs overseas.

Speculation of a future switch was fueled by a contract out clause that kicks in December 28th, So far English has shined in Greece averaging 20 points, 5.1 rebounds and 4 assists per game in Greece’s top flight division.

At 33, English is one of the elder statesmen on the Canadian Mens National Team. The Patrick’s Cove native has been with the national program since 2000.
