Sim Bhullar Waived, Will Join D-League
Toronto’s Sim Bhullar had 2 pts, 3 rebs in 2 mins in the Sacramento Kings pre-season win over Maccabi Haifa Saturday night.
Bhullar made his only shot in the final seconds of the Kings 91-59 victory. A finger roll with 14.7 seconds to go that brought the Sleep Train Arena to its feet.
Immediately after James Ham a writer for the Sacramento Kings from @CowbellKingdom rained on Sim’s parade and tweeted that the Kinks would waive Big Sim.
According to NBA source, the Sacramento Kings will have waived Sim Bhullar, David Wear and Deonte Burton.

“Fact it’s always been part of the plan. He will join their D-league affiliate in Reno in two weeks.” Reliable sources close to the situation told Hoops Hype Canada Sunday morning.
“They’ll be making sure he cuts weight and gets in better shape. Sim just needs to focus now and use the D league to develop” cited the source.
There you have it. Don’t draw any conclusions on Sim Bhullar’s NBA career. A Kings #32 jersey is still up for grabs. With a new found sense of urgency from the Toronto, Ontario big man to improve his conditioning the NBA dream still lives.
