Spurs point guard Cory Joseph drew the start Saturday with Tony Parker (hamstring) sidelined and scored 18 points on 7 of 10 shooting in his team’s 123-101 win over the Timberwolves.

Joseph matched a season high in scoring while delivering the efficient shooting perfomance and was the only Spurs player to top 30 minutes of action, playing 33 minutes while racking up five assists, four rebounds and one steal. The Spurs get a few days off before facing the Jazz Tuesday, and Joseph would presumably make another start if Parker has to miss another game.
